About Us

🌿 The Story of Cinnamon Paradise

My name is Mariama Barry, a passionate entrepreneur from Guinea, with a background combining marketing, management, and hospitality. Cooking has always played an essential role in my life: it represents my roots, my culture, and above all, the art of sharing. It's also my love language — it relaxes me, inspires me, and connects me to what I hold most dear.

✨ A Name, a Story

Cinnamon Paradise was born from my personal story, my roots, and my creativity. "Cinnamon" — the spice — came naturally: it's a spice I'm particularly fond of, symbolizing warmth, sweetness, and character. "Paradise" refers to Guinea, often nicknamed "paradise" by its inhabitants for its richness, beauty, and authenticity.

Together, Cinnamon Paradise represents a world where my origins meet my love for revisited gastronomy.

🍽️ Our Cuisine

My ambition is to offer a generous, halal, elegant, and accessible cuisine, capable of transporting you through powerful and refined flavors. Inspired by the traditional recipes of my childhood and my desire to create a strong brand, I envisioned a premium Afro-fusion world where authenticity and modernity meet.

Among Cinnamon Paradise's must-haves:

  • 🎁 Signature gourmet boxes
  • 🍰 Revisited African pastries
  • 🍽️ Flavorful spiced dishes
  • ☀️ Afro-fusion brunches

📍 Why Montpellier?

Montpellier became an obvious choice. A dynamic, cosmopolitan, and constantly evolving city, it offers an ideal setting for original cuisine that blends African and French influences. I first moved to this city for my studies, then for love — and today, Montpellier is my heart city, the place where I feel most at home outside of Guinea.

💫 Our Mission

Through Cinnamon Paradise, I share much more than just dishes: I tell a story — that of a woman, a culture, a passion, and an entrepreneurial dream driven by love, identity, and creativity. My goal is simple: to showcase African cuisine with elegance, generosity, and modernity, while creating a unique experience that brings all cultures together through taste.
